Saturday Night, our beloved gerbil Steve passed away. It was a miracle that he was even born, given that both of his parents were boys, (well, that's what the pet store guy "guaranteed" us. Obviously he was mistaken.) He was preceded in death by his father, Shrek. He is survived by his brother, Yar.
The boys were pretty bummed, but they took this death way better than when Shrek died. He'll certainly be missed!
